KAV: ¶ 오 내 이름을 멸시하는 제사장들아, 만군의 {주}가 너희에게 이르기를, 아들은 자기 아버지를 공경하고 종은 자기 주인을 공경하나니 그런즉 내가 아버지일진대 나를 공경함이 어디 있느냐? 내가 주인일진대 나를 두려워함이 어디 있느냐? 하나 너희는 이르기를, 우리가 어떤 점에서 주의 이름을 멸시하였나이까? 하는도다.

BBE: And when you give what is blind for an offering, it is no evil! and when you give what is damaged and ill, it is no evil! Give it now to your ruler; will he be pleased with you, or will you have his approval? says the Lord of armies.
KAV: 만군의 {주}가 말하노라. 너희가 눈먼 것을 희생물로 드리면 그것이 악하지 아니하냐? 너희가 다리 저는 것과 병든 것을 드리면 그것이 악하지 아니하냐? 이제 그것을 네 총독에게 드려 보라. 그가 너를 기뻐하겠으며 너를 받아 주겠느냐?

BBE: If only there was one among you who would see that the doors were shut, so that you might not put a light to the fire on my altar for nothing! I have no pleasure in you, says the Lord of armies, and I will not take an offering from your hands.
KAV: 만군의 {주}가 말하노라. 너희 가운데 조금이라도 받지 아니하고 문들을 닫을 자가 과연 누구냐? 또 너희가 조금이라도 받지 아니하면 내 제단에 불을 피우지 아니하는도다. 내가 너희를 기뻐하지 아니하며 너희 손에서 헌물도 받지 아니하리라.
